One of the probable reasons why LENR is called LENR

Many thanks indeed for all this information, which AIAS is encouraged to study. It is a very valuable literature search. I was asked by civilians at the U. S. Navy to explain resonances of the Alex Hill group (www.et3m.net and www.upitec.org) as well as www.aias.us and www.atomicprecision.com. ECE theory developed into R theory of particle interaction and transmutation in UFT158 to UFT182 (all these paperas have ben intensely studied worldwide as we see by constant feedback observation). We monitor the reaction of the scientific community worldwide in great detail, and the attached is posted on this blog quite often as you may know. It indicates unprecedented acceptance of ECE theory, which may be able to provide an explanation of LENR in terms of quantum tunnelling. The excess energy in ECE comes from spacetime, total energy is conserved.

Hello Dr.Evans,

Before venturing in the possibility that the actual working mechanism
for LENR is some sort of fusion process, I would like to inform you that
most scientists and researchers working in this field, perhaps in part
to avoid the stigma of “Cold Fusion”, have hypothesized many different
theories, many of them using standard physics.

It is said there are about a hundred of theories in total. This
fragmentation and lack of common consensus, of course, does not help
scientific advancement of LENR. Truth is, nobody really understands what
exactly happens, and excess heat effect (AHE – in other words that there
is more energy out than the input) is pretty much the only thing
everybody (those who don’t downright deny that some sort of previously
unknown nuclear reaction might occur) agrees to.

Here’s a partial list or LENR theories:

http://newenergytimes.com/v2/sr/Theories/TheoryIndex.shtml

(Be warned, newenergytimes.com is *extremely* critical of Rossi and I
would not regard such information there as objective)

Currently, the most well-regarded (by the scientific consensus) theory
attempting to explain what happens in LENR phenomena is the Widom-Larsen
theory (W-L theory), according to which there is NO fusion process
occurring. Many very detailed presentations about it by Lewis Larsen can
be found here:

http://www.slideshare.net/lewisglarsen/presentations

(Again, be warned that Larsen is very critical of Rossi as well.
Probably because Rossi doesn’t think that the W-L theory correctly
explains what happens inside his devices)

It’s worth to be noted that some researchers at NASA give credit to the
W-L theory of LENR processes, as shown or implied in these videos and
articles from some of their research centers:

http://newenergytimes.com/v2/government/NASA/20110922NASA-Zawodny-GRC-LENR-Workshop.pdf

And this is just the tip of the iceberg. There is much more interest in
LENR around than meets the eye.

I Hope this post was helpful and somehow inspiring more research in this
emerging field.
Kind regards.
