FOR POSTING: Autobiography Volume 2, Pdf Format

March 31, 2013

This is the pdf file for Dave Burleigh to post on www.aias.us. I would be most grateful if it could be posted in the blue box alongside volume one and announced in “news and updates”. Judging by the success of volume one it will be very popular and in this way it can be easily found by readers. I will make pdf versions of updates as I go along and also publish on the blog.

FOR POSTING: Latest Version of Volume Two

March 31, 2013

This is the latest version for posting. I decided to adapt the same method as volume one, weekends for rewriting the biography, the other days for science. Volume one is very popular off www.aias.us adn volume two is intended to be in the same readable style, with historical truth and accuracy. Posting as I go along is a way of backing up on both site and blog. I hear horror stories of manuscripts of books being lost and so on.

Views on Theosophy

March 31, 2013

The problem with all theology is that it is all completely unprovable, a set of assertions, so for that reason I prefer natural philosophy as defined by Bacon. I would like to keep the Welsh speaking Baptist values going, and will see if I can get CADW to list some chapels. I think that laws should be introduced to forbid the sale of chapels and churches, forbid their demolition and looting, and to stop people living in them. I also like the great prose of Dr William Morgan. Theosophy looks much too vague to interest me at all, and these days there is not very much genuine piety.

Hello Myron. I am not a theosophist but recently I have been encountering a lot of issues related to the subject ……..including the work of 2 leading theosophists …the Ukrainian Madam Helena Blavatsky and Rudolph Steiner of Bratislava, Slovakia (who had a famous school for dance/acting/movement for many years in Addlestone where I live). In Edinburgh Bathgate, where our Newlands ancestors were clustered, there are people queueing up on waiting lists for joining theosophy groups. Also, I only discovered last week that your ancestor Thomas Vaughan was a leading theosophist. The list of famous people who were theosophists is very impressive and includes James Joyce, T.S. Eliot, Sir Tom Stoppard, Jean Sibelius, Gustav Mahler, Thomas Edison, Paul Gauguin, Ghandi, Prime minister Nehru of India, Annie Besant, Dion Fortune (Violet Mary Firth Evans) and Maria Montessori. If you have any opinions on the subject of theosophy that you are willing to express I’d appreciate hearing them. At the moment I am trying to be open minded about the subject. Best wishes, Vivienne

March 30, 2013

This is being sent as usual to Dave Burleigh to overwrite the older versions and to back it up as I go along. It is also being posted on the blog. It is intended to record my thoughts as an eighteen year old and not as a 62 year old with experience of the world. There are comments from experience.

Land Act for Wales

March 30, 2013

This has received 136 signatures and 571 recommendations. It is easily googled up and I encourage all readers of this blog to take a few minutes to sign it. They do not have to be resident in Wales. A large amount of land in Wales is being stolen by wind turbine developers in a wholly illegal way. The Land Act is authored by Sia^n Ifan and myself and is based on the Irish Land Acts of Gladstone, Balfour and Parnell, and of the Irish Free State.

Nant y Moch Wind Farm / Fferm Wynt Nant y Moch

March 30, 2013

This development is illegal following the UN ruling in favour of Patrick Swords, declaring the EEC policy to be incompatible with the Aarhus Convention. So all who try to push through this illegal development could face prosecution. A Judge cpoud order the demolition of your wind turbines, adn indeed they should be demolished. Many are forced through against the wishes of the great majority of the local People, and are well hated throughout Europe. Your artificial use of the Welsh language to destroy the countryside is not a good idea.

Nant y Moch Wind Farm – project update

I am writing to update you on our proposed Nant y Moch Wind Farm project. As part of the planning process, we have been finalising a Development Consent Order (DCO) application.

Following an internal project review, we have decided to delay the submission of the DCO application to the Planning Inspectorate as we are continuing discussions with key stakeholders to resolve outstanding issues.

One of the factors that we have been taking into account is the investment climate for renewable energy in Wales and therefore it is likely that we will not be making any further significant investment in the project until the ambitions for the delivery of renewable energy in Wales is clearer.

We will be continuing discussions with stakeholders in the meantime and monitoring progress of other energy infrastructure projects in Wales over the next year. We will submit our DCO application once we have clarity on the outstanding issues.

We are very grateful for the further feedback that we have received on the project to date and are confident that we will be able to address the issues raised as part of our planning application submission. We will continue to keep you updated on the project’s progress.

In the meantime, you can find further information on our project website: www.nantymochwindfarm.com.

If you wish to discuss the project in more detail, please contact our Community Liaison team on 01654 702720 or by email: nantymochwindfarm@sse.com.

Diolch yn Fawr in Sia^n Ifan

March 30, 2013

‘ R wy’ n cytuno yn llwyr gyda Sia’n Ifan nid oes esiau dathlu Agincourt o gwbl. Mae’n lawer mwy pwysig i gofio am Owain Glyndw^r.

I agree completely with with this, everyone in Wales should be able to understand this fluently by now. There is no need to remember Agincourt at all. It is much more important to remember Owain Glyndw^r and enact his vision of Wales.

Hefyd…gweler y llun sy’n atodol.

BANERI GLYNDŴR…CHWIFIWCH NHW YN UCHEL…DEWCH I NI GYCHWYN RŴAN ER MWYN SICRHAU BOD CYMRU – CENEDL GLYNDŴR DAN FLANCED O FANERI GLYNDŴR YN 2015.

Heb unrhyw amheuaeth, pan ddaw’r flwyddyn 2015 (sy’n llai na dwy flynedd i ffwrdd) mi fydd y ‘Brits ICH DIENERS’ Cymreig a Chymraeg yn mynd dros ben llestri wrth ddathlu 600mlwyddiant buddugoliaeth y Saeson ar faes y gad ym Mrwydr Agincourt yn 1415 – a heb amheuaeth ac yn gyfleus iawn, anghofir am ‘drosedd rhyfel’ y Saeson wrth iddynt lofruddio carcharorion Ffrengig diarfog, ac anghofir yn ogystal, bod llawer o gefnogwyr Owain Glyndŵr wedi bod yn ymladd ar yr ochr Ffengig yn y frwydr yma wedi iddynt orfod gadael Cymru, a bod llawer, fel Henri Gwyn a’i feibion, wedi eu lladd yn Azincourt yn ymladd yr hen elyn, yn hytrach na ‘gwerthu allan’.

Manteisir ar yr achlysur yn 2015 i lwytho llwyaid enfawr arall o hanes Tuduraidd a Phrydeinig i lawr ein gyddfau – a’r cyfan i gefndir o fôr o faneri San Siôr mae’n siŵr. Unwaith eto, bydd y ‘spin’ Shakespiaraidd yn llenwi ein theatrau ac ysgolion gyda llwyfannu dramâu fel Henry IV a Henry V sy’n bychanu Owain Glyndŵr fel rhyw ‘dwpsyn ofergoelus’ tra’n clodfori’r Tuduriaid ac Undod Prydeinig hyd syrffed!

Oes rhaid dioddef yr uchod yn hollol ddiymadferth? NAGOES! Yn hytrach, gellir mynegi’n glir yn 2015 nad yw pob Cymro a Chymraes yn daeog i’r Drefn Brydeinig. Gellir dangos fod yna ddigon o wladgarwyr yn bodoli yng Nghenedl Glyndŵr o hyd na wnaiff byth werthu allan – a gellir dangos ein teyrngarwch i Glyndŵr ac i genedl Glyndŵr ac i’w ddyhead am Gymru Rydd Annibynnol drwy sicrhau fod Cymru – Cenedl Glyndŵr wedi ei gorchuddio a baner ein harwr mwyaf oll yn 2015. Bydd gwneud hyn yn ddim i’w gymharu â’r aberth a wnaed gan gefnogwyr Glyndŵr yn ei gyfnod ond bydd y weithred symbolaidd syml yma yn ddatganiad pendant fod brwydr Glyndŵr yn parhau drwy Gymru benbaladr hyd at fuddugoliaeth.

Erfyniodd Llysgenhadaeth Glyndŵr yn y flwyddyn 2000 (ar achlysur 600mlwyddiant dathlu cychwyn Rhyfel Mawr Owain Glyndŵr am Annibyniaeth) ac eto yn y flwyddyn 2004 ( Blwyddyn dathlu 600mlwyddiant Coroni Glyndŵr) ar i bob Cymro a Chymraes gwlatgarol gyfrannu i’r dathliadau drwy orchuddio Cymru mewn blanced o faneri Glyndŵr; gwnaed yr ymdrech gan lawer ond, ysywaeth, ddim gan ddigon o bell fordd. Faint o ymdrech mae’n ei gymryd o ddifrif i godi baner ar bolyn neu, hyd yn oed, i chwifio un allan drwy’r ffenestr? Beth yw’r pwynt sôn am ‘Annibyniaeth i Gymru’ a gweiddi ‘Cymru Rydd’ wrth godi dyrnau i’r awyr os na ellir cytuno i uno fel cenedl o wladgarwyr i wneud y mymryn lleiaf fel sicrhau bod baner Glyndŵr yn gorchuddio ein cenedl erbyn dyfodiad 2015, fel modd o ddatgan i Loegr na wnawn byth ildio ein cenedl. Dyma weithred hollol syml a all arwain at ddeffroad gwladgarol yng Nghymru – ond i bawb wneud yr ymdrech lleiaf.

Mae’r cyfrifoldeb dros sicrhau dyfodol ein cenedl fel Cymru Rydd annibynnol yn ein dwylo ni i gyd fel cenedlaetholwyr a gwladgarwyr Cymreig felly, dewch i ni gyd gydweithredu i danio’r fflam. Does dim cyfiawnhad dros laesu dwylo a gadael yr ymgyrchu i’r lleiafrif drwy’r amser. Os na ellir cyflawni’r weithred leiaf un yma fel modd o ddangos her erbyn 2015, yna waeth i ni gyd roi’r gorau i freuddwydio a rhoi’r ffidil yn y to. Gallaf yn bersonol feddwl am gant a mil o bethau diddorol a phleserus i’w gwneud â gweddill fy mywyd os yw’r frwydr drosodd – a dyna yn union fyddai yn ei wneud os na welaf her ‘go iawn’ i’r drefn Brydeinig yn cael ei fynegi erbyn 2015.

Os nad oes baner Glyndŵr gennych, gellir prynu un maint 3’ x 5’ mewn unrhyw siop Gymraeg gwerth ei halen neu, os ydych am gael gafael ar faner enfawr 5’ x 8’ i ddangos eich her i Loegr yn hen ddigon clir, fe allaf archebu cyflenwad o rain ond, bydd yn rhaid i’r sawl sydd am gael un, yrru archeb bendant gyda siec am £15 (sy’n cynnwys pris cludiant) yn daladwy i fi, Siân Ifan, 34, Bethesda Court, Ffordd Tywysog Cymru, Abertawe SA1 2EY. o fewn y bythefnos nesaf. Yn ogystal, gellir cysylltu â fi ar e-bost yn s.ifan@ntlworld.com <mailto:s.ifan

@ntlworld.com>. Os oes angen mwy o wybodaeth.

Byddai’n wych gweld y baneri enfawr yma ar hyd a lled Cymru ond dwi ond yn barod i archebu 100 (fel man cychwyn) a hynny ddim ond os oes digon yn archebu ac yn gyrru eu taliad yn ystod y bythefnos nesaf. Dewch i ni gyd gydweithredu yn yr ymgyrch yma – ac o ddifrif y tro yma.

Siân Ifan
