You are welcome to print out the history of course. There are censi records, births marriages etc., deeds and wills. I was very luck because Stuart Davies and Dewi Lewis helped a lot. In fact the Family History is being circulated all over Glyn Tawe. There are also parochial records of Defynnog and St. Cynog in Ystrad Gynlais and the Estate papers of Ynys Cedwyn. Trevallion sounds like a Cornish name, it is rare and should be easy to trace relatives. With a name like Evans you have had it.

### Evans and Havard Lines

June 29, 2011### Evans and Havard Lines

June 29, 2011Many thanks for your message. I advise having a look at the Family History on www.aias.us. My Evans line is given there in all known detail, back to 1801 in Llanigon, Powys. There is no David Evans in that line, but he may be a distant relative somehow. My proven Havard line goes back to Morgan Havard Ystradfellte, whose father may have been a Havard of Defynnog. This line is almost certainly from the eleventh century but I have not been able to prove it as yet. It would be very easy to do so by Y Chromosome DNA on a male Havard cousin of mine. It should be Norse DNA. The name is Norse, Hoy Vardr, which means “Of High Worth”. Evans is either the Biblical John or ancient Celtic Eofn, (without fear). William Thomas Havard (1889 – 1956) was by my count the 113’th Bishop of St. David’s (enthroned 1950). He was also born in Defynnog, a powerful preacher in Welsh and English. He played rugby for Oxford, Llanelli, London Welsh and one cap for Wales. Played soccer for Swansea Town. He is almost certainly an ancestral cousin, the DNA of his son or grandson would prove this. Married into the aristocracy and raised as a nonconformist.

### Some Well Known but Incorrect Metrics

June 29, 2011The Kerr, Newman, Reissner, Nordstrom metrics are all solutions of the Einstein field equation, which is based on an incorrect second Bianchi identity, so at this point are of historical interest only. The second Bianchi identity was used by Einstein to produce the field equation, but the identity is incorrect because it uses a symmetric connection. The spherical metric is not based on the Einstein field equation, and as just found, can be self consistent. Torsional cosmology is very rigorous, much more so than twentieth century cosmology.

### Summing Up UFT 187

June 29, 2011The method has been firstly to define with rigour the antisymmetry of the connection from the very fundamental commutator equation, without which there would be no Riemann geometry at all. and which uses only the connection, not the metric. The metric compatibility equation is then used with an antisymmetric connection in all occurrences. Finally the self consistency of the procedure is tested with the Evans identity, which is also very fundamental to Riemann geometry, and which is an exact, self checking, identity. The metric compatibility equation is somewhat less fundamental in nature, it asserts without proof that the covariant derivative of the metric vanishes. A geometry in which this does not occur would have to be very abstruse. The only self consistent metric found so far is that of a spherically symmetric spacetime. The Schwarzschild metric is self consistent only in the limit of infinite r. These methods are completely new to geometry and physics, and the computer algebra by co authors Horst Eckardt and Douglas Lindstrom is essential. The hand calculations are checked at every stage by use of the computer and modified CEFE code. I think that the Crothers general metric would also be a good candidate, but at this point my hand calculations should be checked again by computer (i.e. notes 187(9) and 187(10)). AIAS is so successful because people are willing to work well together in pursuit purely of knowledge. I assume that the Crothers general metric is not obtained from the Einstein field equation.

### 187(10): Calculations with a Spherical Metric

June 29, 2011In this case there appears to be no basic self inconsistency as per attached. The identity produces a constraint (19), and as in previous work the equations of motion are found from eq. (23).

### 187(9): Schwarzschild Metric Incorrect

June 29, 2011This is a quick check on the Schwarzschild metric, which is incorrect in general, and acceptable only in the limit r goes to infinity. I can proceed in this way with other metrics. The computations of (1) to (3) are correct, so are the computations of (6) and (7). The commutator method, metric compatibility and identity are correct. I will proceed now with writing up UFT 187 as a three author paper reporting these results. There is essentially nothing left of twentieth century cosmology. By iterating to agreement in this way, all UFT papers are technically correct.

### 187(8): Self Consistent Solution, Recalculation

June 29, 2011This is a recalculation coming up with the result that the “Schwarzschild” metric is a vacuum metric, i.e. is valid as r goes to infinity. The method of testing initial hand calculations by computer is working very well. All UFT papers are tested in this way.

### Criticisms of EDCL Staff 1978 – 1983

June 28, 2011I cannot be too critical of the EDCL staff in this interval of time, and in retrospect the only way possible of continuing my scientific work was to get out of the place, however disruptive at the time. There were all kinds of abuses, and all kinds of corruption. See

Kerry Pendergast, “The Life of Myron Evans” (Cambridge International Science Publishing, 2011).

I kept carefully out of the common room, but Gareth Evans used to give me an account of the gossip, including theĀ IRA accusations. From this perspective in time they got what they were asking for, the closure of the department. Most are now out of the system, retired or deceased, and none have ever communicated with me apart from Dan Davies and Alun Price, briefly. Difficult to believe that these were my lecturers. I happen to admire the founders of the Irish Republic, as do many, for example Patrick Pearse and James Connolly, being partly of Irish descent through my ancestor Mary Collins. The provo’s are regarded as terrorists in the Irish Republic. Mansel Davies refused to enter the Irish Republic and asked me to deputise for him at DIAS. I did so and brought back photographs of Pierce and Connolly and a few others executed in 1916, innocently pinning them to the wall of my part office (a small unlit room). MMD saw them and broke in to a manic rage. This was one of the huge weaknesses in his character, revealing that he was a humanist thus far, otherwise an arch imperialist and reactionary, quite ignorant in his prejudices. The photo’s remained on the wall. Yeats wrote some of his greatest poetry about them.

### To Sam Hinton

June 28, 2011The easiest thing is to just forward my one message to the other group because e mail etiquette does not allow me to do that myself – I cannot use someone else’s e mail list without permission. Then they can look at my blog if they wish. My blog is already making a tremendous impact. Your photographic work is very valuable, and the turbines will destroy a lot of the environment for no purpose at all. Those who do this are in my opinion criminals no different from vandals.

### Final Version of Note 187(6)

June 28, 2011While writing up UFT 187 I reworked note 187(6) as attached. I can ask Horst Eckardt to check the calculations by computer algebra. The self consistent result is eq. (18), in which the constant b goes to zero, as in UFT 108, where the orbits were worked out by computer algebra. The orbits are precessing ellipses spiralling inwards or outwards very slowly, because b must be infinitesimally small. The most general solution is eq. (21), which can also be solved by computer algebra. It may be able to give the orbits in a whirlpool galaxy in one limit.
