Compton Scattering Theory with Finite Photon Mass

I am proceeding with Compton scattering theory of the simplest type (without the heavily flawed QED) using finite photon mass. There is also the inverse Compton effect where photons form the microwave background move through a hot electron gas near a galaxy cluster, and are scattered to higher energy. This is the Sunyaev Zel’dovich effect. The latter immediately accepted B(3) back in the nineties. Some synchrotron facilities scatter light off a stored electron beam. After UFT 85 there are doubts as to whether QED is meaningful at all. I am looking to find a method that is sensitive enough to measure photon mass.
