Usage Statistics Sample for August

This sample was kindly prepared by David Burleigh and can be forwarded by e mail by nominators to the Wolf Foundation in support of their nominations for this year’s Wolf Prize, together with the attached 154 page overview of interest in ECE and monthly overview. I am greatly honoured by these nominations. The attached is also a convenient index of my output of work over forty years to date, about two thousand books, papers, notes and other material which can be used for scholarly study by future generations. All this is being archived in the National Library of Wales on – the British national archives for outstanding websites. The Wolf Prize and Nobel Prize are of lesser import than the British Civil List Pension, a national high honour akin to Congressional Medal of Honor, which was awarded essentially for new science. The attached is also a convenient index of the work of AIAS colleagues. I believe that prizes such as the Wolf and Nobel Prizes should be awarded on merit, and not restricted to the standard model.

Evans of Glyn Eithrym,
H. M. Civil List
