B-Q Vuong,

Dear Dr Vuong,

In your article “On Ranking Controversies in Wikipedia”, Proc. Int. Conf. on Web Search and Web Data Mining, Palo Alto, 2008 you found that the controversy about myself “Myron Evans” was generated by just two arguments, between Solmil and Rich Farmbrough, and MWK Davidson and Mathsci. I was not involved in either controversy, and this grossly defamatory posting “Myron Evans” has now been removed by wikipedia. The controversy was caused by the crude personal animosity of a person called Akhlesh Lakhtakia alia “Science Guy” (see attached). In my opinion wikipedia was worthless when it came to evaluating my career. My true contributions are found in _www.aias.us_ (http://www.aias.us) in about 25 Marquis entries and Burkes’ Peerage and gentry (2009). This incident shows how the internet can distort and misrepresent. One of the so called “moderators” of this site, “Science Guy” was found to be Akhlesh Lakhtakia of Penn State, who was aught sending the attached crude abuse. He was subsequently removed from WIkipedia. The so called “controversy” has now shifted to a site on Wikipedia called “Einstein Cartan Evans Theory”, which is crude misrepresentation of ECE theory and its history. For an accurate escription of ECE see _www.aias.us_ (http://www.aias.us) So our barristers will probably negotiate with Wikipedia to have this distortion removed. In the meantime I encourage scientists to vigorously counter this kind of distortion of science wherever it occurs. It is a deliberate distortion of long established geometry, and is not in particular an attack on me any longer. It is an attack on science itself.

Prof. Myron Wyn Evans of Glyneithrym, British Civil List Scientist
