Events Tomorrow

August 31, 2010

I will be working early tomorrow, and will be attending the funeral of the Head Deacon of Elim, Capel y Bedyddwyr, Craig Cefn Parc, Cenfyn Young Williams, and the reception thereafter. There is a deep and universal respect for the late Head Deacon, whom I had known for fifty five years, and also for the traditions and era that he so well represented.

Eight Year Timeline and Overall Trend

August 31, 2010

This is a timeline for the years 2002 to present, the straight line is a rough measure of the growth in interest in ECE theory among professionals worldwide in all walks of life. I marked four points on the timeline: the beginning of ECE theory in March 2003, the Civil List appointment and high honour of February 28th 2005, the high honour of Armorial bearings in July 2008 at Craig y Nos Castle, and the high honour of the Queen’s invitation to Buckingham Palace of July 20th 2010. The entire AIAS group and many others can take full credit for the new physics. These development are recorded in many editions of “Marquis Who’s Who”, the world’s leading reference vehicle, 1999 to present. The complete feedback data are recorded in the attached files, which are self explanatory.

Anomalies Removed

August 31, 2010

In preparing the eight year synopsis of feedback activity, (see following postings), I removed anomalous spikes such as those in Sept. – Nov. 2006 caused by link spammers illegally taking advantage of the fact that we made the feedback sites accessible. David Burleigh removed the link spamming by securing the feedback sites. After removing these spikes of interest the underlying trend is steadily upwards over eight years, indicating a tremendous level of interest by any measure. This implies a complete and overwhelming professional rejection of the narrow specialists who are funded so lavishly at present for theory now known to be wrong. It also implies a professional condemnation of the way in which a tiny minority of these people have resorted to personal attacks and attempted misrepresentation of ECE theory. People like this do not deserve to be funded publicly, or for that matter by corporations, and do not deserve to hold posts in universities. They have been rejected and condemned repeatedly, not only by professions such as chemistry and engineering, but also by a barrister, who described them as pejorative and wildly irresponsible. This amounts to academic misconduct. This misconduct brings some parts of academic physics into disrepute. Their attempts to brand ECE and myself on wikipedia have backfired completely upon them. The anomalous spikes can be seen in the attached monthly synopsis.

Eight Year Feedback: Page Views and Hits per Month

August 31, 2010

This is the eight year feedback for ECE theory on www.aias.us in terms of page views per month and files downloaded (hits) per month, and also combined hits per month over fourteen months. The quality of the feedback is also consistently of the best, as monitored in the 154 page overview file. This graph shows that the interest in ECE has been steadily increasing over eight years. The comparative impact table on www.aias.us shows that this level of interest is by far the highest of any comparable institute or any other new theory of physics. Usually a department of physics of the old variety only gives a hit counter, which it often mixes up with a visitor counter. More often than not the department gives no indication at all of immediate interest in its work, and rolls out the old dogma in journals reserved for that dogma. That is why academic physics as a subject has declined so sharply in the past fifty years.

Eight Year Trend for ECE Theory and Precursor Theory: Unique Visits per Month

August 31, 2010

I drew this graph by hand of the eight year trend in ECE theory back to 2003, and one further year back to the start of the www.aias.us website. Using the attached data, AIAS members of staff may like to graph a variety of trends accurately for www.aias.us over eight years, for example: unique visits per month, hits per month, and page views per month. The combined total is shown by the squares in this graph. The combined total is for www.aias.us, www.atomicprecision.com, and www.upitec.org. I have been accumulating these feedback data for eight years daily, using five feedback sites. The combined total has been accurately available for about fourteen months.

This graph shows the emergence of a new physics, called ECE physics, making the old twentieth century physics thoroughly obsolete. For many years, the old physics has not been used in other disciplines, being totally unworkable in for example chemistry and engineering, biochemistry, medicine, and genetics. For the first time we can see exactly how a new physics emerges historically. The driving force behind the new physics has been the AIAS school of thought. The graph shows that the funding of physics at present is severely out of balance, a lot of public money being wasted on ideas that are quite easily shown to be wrong, and insufficient support for the new physics which progressive thinkers around the world find so interesting. The trend also becomes clear, the new physics is not going to go away, it will be studied intensively for years to come.

Feedback for www.aias.us, August 2010 to date

August 31, 2010

Attached is the file to 30th August, the full returns will be in tomorrow as usual. There was the usual very intense worldwide interest in the site. There were 84,477 hits, 50,300 page views and 12,237 distinct visits. There were 9.844 gigabytes downloaded, 1,973 documents read from 95 countries, led by USA, Russia, France, Germany, Britain, Italy, Mexico, Australia, ……… Visits from the Governments of Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, New South Wales and India. This file records maybe 1 to 2% only of the huge total interest (recorded in full on computer). In this file I manually select the feedback of what I think is highest quality – universities, institutes, large corporations, government and military facilities. It can be seen clearly that this interest will continue unabated for years ahead, because we can extrapolate from data accumulated over six and a half years. Blog visits to date for 2010 are 15,434.

Failure of the Shapiro Delay Theory

August 31, 2010

These are important results from Dr. Horst Eckardt which show that the theory of general relativity has failed. The right hand column marked with * are numerical evaluations to high precision of the absolute value of the time delay in seconds, while the Shapiro claim is about 0.0003 seconds. In UFT 150 it was found that the numerical evaluation of the integral used in light deflection theory does not give the analytical result, claimed to be 4MG / (c squared R0), where R0 is the distance of closest approach. In UFT 122 onwards it has been shown that the connection symmetry of the old GR is incorrect. There is essentially nothing left of the old GR, and it has been replaced by ECE. We can see this from feedback activity, which shows that the interest in ECE will be intense for years to come. Physics has split into the progressives who seriously study ECE theory and the dogmatists who cling on to outmoded and incorrect ideas. The numerical evaluation has been carried out precisely and carefully, and carefully cross checked. There is no way that any claimed “second order correction” can account for this discrepancy because the varying M method is fundamentally incorrect beyond repair, while string theory cannot compete because of its use of so many adjustable parameters. The experimental methods of the Shapiro time delay experiment have been heavily criticised by Prof. Paul Marmet and his group in the University of Ottawa (google them up).

More Information from Penwyllt Thesis

August 30, 2010

There is quite a lot of good information in the Thesis, if accurate. It states that Craig y Nos Castle was built in 1844 (probably by Captain Rhys Davies Powell) and owned by Nicolini and the Baron Cederstrom, not by Patti, (the Baroness Cederstrom), who could not own property at the time. It states that Pen y Foel (at one time home of David and Rachel Potter, and also their son William John Potter) had no road access to it, had two small bedrooms and a kitchen, built in dairy and a deep well which served to keep the butter cold in summer. This is very typical of a Welsh farmhouse, sometimes a Ty Hir (long house), with space for the animals. Penwyllt was a typical industrial community much the same as Craig Cefn Parc here, but having the advantage of a railway line to Brecon, Neath and Swansea via Coelbren. It had much the same kind of accidents and harsh working conditions, but both communities were cultured and content on the whole. One of the Potters apparently lost an arm and had it buried in Callwen, (presumably he used it to book a ticket to heaven), and another (John Potter) was killed by a cannon at a wedding celebration. The letters extant between David Potter and his friend Blazey are in Brecon Museum. I have read one and it is of a good standard of prose, eminently literate. The Patti Estate (technically the Cederstrom Estate) extended over large areas, including Penwyllt. On a recent visit to Penwyllt I had a good look at Powell Street, not realizing that I was staring straight at the family domain. Penwyllt means “wild headland” and it can certainly be wild in winter, but on a cool summer’s day it is most serene and beautiful. Underneath it is the huge Ogof Ffynnon Ddu cave system, now an underground nature preserve. The outflow is only about fifty yards from my grandfather’s house, “Y Greithig”. More accurately he owned (or may have rented) a quarter of Greithig.

Posted Potter Information on the www.aias.us blog

August 30, 2010

I posted this on the blog. The Thesis is best found by clicking on reference 6 of the wikipedia entry on Penwyllt. The link I gave is broken, so I removed it. I also fixed some typo’s. William John Potter was born at ten past six in the morning of Dec. 3rd, 1856. His father David’s diary is in Brecon Museum as described in the following blog posting. Several Potters worked at Craig y Nos Castle, (as did my grandmother Gwenllian Potter), so Patti, being of course a world renowned singer, would have appreciated David’s singing. It is known that she invited ordinary people to her private theatre if they were serious about music. My parents attended the private theatre often, (long after Patti died in 1919), but I was not taken. So I first saw the interior of the castle when I was in my fifties. I felt quite at home there, despite the commercialization. Patti’s favourite composer was apparently Beethoven, also my favourite composer.

Thesis on Penwyllt – Potter Dynasty

August 30, 2010

This is reference 6 of the wikipedia entry on Penwyllt and the whole Thesis is online. It is

Helen Mathews, “Penwyllt Village, Growth, Development and Decline”. Local History Dissertation, Univ. Wales Swansea (1991), page 58, “The Potter Dynasty”.

My great great grandfather David Potter was highly literate and lived as a warrener in Cefn Cul when he first arrived from Worth in Sussex, in one of the wildest houses of the area. He married my great great grandmother Rachel (known as Rahel) Morgan of “Y Deri” in Callwen, on March 17th 1856. At the time of the marriage Rachel Morgan was living in Blaen Twyni and David, a labourer, at Tafarn y Garreg. David Potter’s extensive diary is kept in Brecon Museum. My great grandfather William John Potter was born on Dec 3rd., 1856 at ten past six in the morning, so was an early riser. David was buried in Callwen on January 2nd., 1892, Rachel on Dec. 11th., 1907. William John Potter died in 1929, aged 72, at 3 Powell Street, Penwyllt. The Potters were central to Penwyllt, and David Potter was a fine singer, opening many concerts. So he must have known Adelina Patti and her family well.

Stuart Davies has an extensive knowledge of the Morgan Potter Dynasties and may be able to comment on these facts. We know that the family lived at one time in Pen y Foel, a thirteen acre holding outside Penwyllt. I tried to find it recently but could find no trace of a foundation, but it is certainly well known, situated in a very wild and beautiful mountainside over looking Glyn Tawe.
