I am most grateful for the help of Arthur Turner-Thomas, Stuart Davies and Dewi Lewis in compiling this draft, accepted for publication in “Burke’s Peerage and Gentry”.

This line has been kindly researched and authenticated by Arthur Turner-Thomas, genealogist to HRH the Countess of Wessex, the wife of Prince Edward, youngest son of Queen Elizabeth II.
These were ugly conspiracies which took away my job, pension and salary not once but twice. They are similar to the conspiracy against Francis Bacon by the Duke of Buckingham faction in the time of James 1st. These are known by historical scholarship to have been false accusations, as in my case. At Aberystwyth they did not even bother to contrive accusations, they just arbitrarily terminated my contract with disasterous consequence for the Edward Davies Chemical Laboratories as is well known to many from Kerry Pendergast’s biography and history on this site. The conspirators at both places have been entirely forgotten and discarded by time, but are retired on comfortable pensions. The British Government has righted these injustices by writing in my title of Professor to the Civil List. Society and Academia are much the poorer for such anti scientific conduct and for the failure at Aberystwyth to right the injustice even after the Government itself has righted it. Francis Bacon was a friend of my ancestral cousin, the great poet George Herbert who influenced my other ancestral cousin, the great poet Henry Vaughan.
These were predicted by ECE theory about 2003, and in paper 48 the magnetic current of ECE was used to give a straightforward explanation of the experimentally observed change of polarization in light grazing a massive object such as a neutron star. Such a prediction is not made by the Einstein field equation. It is now well accepted that the Einstein field equation is incorrect, and that it has been replaced by the ECE field equations.
This is my entry in this scholarly vehicle recording my achievement of arms in 2008, with definitive genealogy researched by Arthur Turner-Thomas, Stuart Davies, Dewi Lewis and myself.
This is shown as attached. The Vaughan family and I are descended from Maenarch ap Dryffin (born 998) as shown. Sir Roger Vaughan developed Tretower Court in the fifteenth century, and this house is carefully preserved by CADW, its original structure being still intact. He was given the house by the Herbert family. Both the Vaughan and Herbert families became rich and powerful families. The Earls of Worcester and Dukes of Beaufort descend from Sir Wlliam Herbert, first Earl of Pembroke, the son of Sir William ap Thomas of Raglan (born 1424), who married Gwladus ferch Dafydd Gam, also descended from Maenarch ap Dryffin.
The attached chart gives my relation to these two great metaphysical poets of the seventeenth century. They were both descended from the daughter of Sir Dafydd Gam as shown. Dafydd Gam was descended from Einion Saes ap Rhys, (the ancestor of the Countess of Wessex), who was descended from Trahaearn ap Gwgon (b. 1130), the brother of my ancestor Cydifor ap Gwgon (b. 1133) Lord of Glyntawe, where Craig y Nos Castle is situated. Gwgon was the grandson of Prince Bleddyn ap Maenarch (1024 – 1093) of Brycheiniog. Dylan Thomas based his “Over Sir John’s Hill” (circa 1948) on these poets and John Donne (Dwn) of “For whom the bell tolls”.
This is the latest version, more information is being discovered all the time by the genealogists.
I urge considerable caution about any kind of ultra abstruse mathematics that does not reduce to well known mathematics. For example Cartan geometry is equivalent to Riemann geometry, first formulated in the early nineteenth century and four dimensional Riemann geometry reduces to Minkowski geometry when the connection vanishes. Minkowski geometry reduces to Euclidean space geometry in the non-relativistic limit. So any claim to generalize Cartan is nonsensical if it does not reduce to Euclidean geometry. Contemporary mathematics frequently has no relevance to physics and useless for engineering. Any claim that Cartan is wrong can be dismissed out of hand.
